Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

Yep. Start to finish, never a doubter that Iowa was better.
I can live with the poor shooting, its just what this team is. But the rebounding and lack of defense are effort based - Iowa was much better at both of those and it wasn't close.

Yep. And most people thought ISU would hurt Iowa inside and that was completely not what happened.

Osun has been a major dissappointment to date. He's shown flashes so I'm not giving up on him yet, but he's not been good against P6 competition for the most part.

Here is something you Iowa fans can hang your hat on. From what I've seen, Rebracca (sp?) is better than Bacot.

Wasn't ISU ahead at half time last night?

Men were competitive until...tip off?
It was more about how the game felt than the actual score. The women are an offensive machine so that output was weak against a mediocre Iowa D. The men are a top 10 D yet Iowa could do no wrong on offense. Upside Down World...

We aren't imposing enough. Osun has the best moves and talent, but he's thin. Rob is the biggest guy but he is not extremely skilled or athletic. Ward is big and athletic but not very skilled. It's an interesting hodge podge of bigs but they've underwhelmed so far.

He's taking a bit longer to adjust than we would have liked. Not quite the finished product we thought we were getting.

And for being almost 7 foot he’s a terrible rebounder. He’s grabbing a mighty 3 down per game.
