Where was everyone yesterday? A sunday afternoon, facing an undefeated team, while we are ranked and the place was maybe 60% full. No students in the upper level and basically zero people followed the striping scheme they emailed out. What the heck is going on?

Also, the color scheme attempt was a dumb idea. Iowa State has shown time after time that they don't get behind those.

Wife and I were slightly disappointed with attendance as well but I think many stayed home to watch the wrestling meet; that is my hope for the reason anyways. I will say it did get nice and loud in there a few times which was great.

NFL, first shotgun season, people doing holiday stuff. Plus, even though they were a good opponent your average fan doesn't realize that when they see St. Johns on the schedule. Seems like this is always a tough time of year for basketball attendence for any opponent not named Iowa. NBD IMO.

The student section was maybe 75% full and the atmosphere of the game was still very good. It got incredibly loud multiple times throughout the game and overall it was a very active and engaged crowd.

We need to stop trying to do the stripe thing. It flat out doesn’t work. Do a solid color. It makes things so easier and turns out way better.

Students need to be louder....when there's like 20 of them yelling instead of 2,000, it doesn't make for a very intimidating atmosphere. Not sure where our consistently loud student section from the late Hoiberg/early Prohm era went.

I hate being told " you are in this section so you wear yellow". Like quit trying that stuff. That is not Hilton. Hilton is going nuts. We are not Carver Morgueye arena where sitting on your hands and being as quiet as possible while makes the arena look like stripes is the way to help your team win.
