KU Fans

What got me, was the guy in front of me who cheered pretty loud after a 2 pt basket when they were up by about 15. He seemed pretty excited about that basket.

lol at this thread. Sounds like the fans were fine except for one guy who ran in a circle...big deal. I'm sure there's no bad apples among ISU fans.

I personally believe that lots of glory turns a team and their fans into cocky, arrogant people who treat teams like us like crap. Just look at KU, Texas, Iowa, or anybody who is well known.

Don't know about other people's experiences, but the Texas fans during the game at UT in 2002 were the best I have been around. I plan on going back to Austin next time we play there in football.

KU and Iowa fans are annoying when they win or lose. Even KU football fans were bad when they sucked for years. Of course they called themselves Huskers back then.

The rest of my row was filled with Kansas fans. They were nice, respectful and all. No problems that I recall, except my wondering why there were so many of them, and no Cyclone fans. That's my beef. Come on, Cyclone fans!! Get out there and support your team, and no one has this stuff to talk about.

I didn't see the victory lap, but that guy was obviously a ****** bag. Lots of Cyclone fans claim that we have a great fan base and we're one of ISU's selling points, but we have ISU fans in this thread admitting similar or even worse behavior in some of our road games.

It's not a matter of it being a good or bad fan base. It's a matter of ****** bags.

THey didn't have any females throwing confetti did they. I about cunched one a couple years ago.

KU fans were fine. The victory lap was definitely arrogant, and classless. But everything else comes with winning. We are the same way. Everyone is.

Just think about how people hate us when we take over their arena's. (I really want to go to a CA Men's basketball roadtrip game where we win though!! I am 0-2 in the CA Men's roadtrips I have attended.)

Nebraska 2006 was a win!

Unless you mean NE 2007 and MO this year. If that's the case, that would hurt.

I still encourage all Cyclone fans to make the road trip to Lincoln on March 5th (Wednesday). Always a good time filling the Devaney Center.

dude. seriously either leave or change your name from kucyclone because its getting pretty obvious that you are jayhawk

Hmmm yeah they've tried running before...

Last person didn't make the whole lap though

That was awesome, good job! I'll try to remember my camera one of these games to take a video of Flag Guy II for you, so you can see how your protege is doing. He's been running for the last couple games. On Saturday, before FGII ran, there was also a gorilla that ran a lap being chased by a banana. Wish I had my camera for that one... I think the banana was supposed to be this guy-

Actually the gorilla was chasing the banana...

The gorilla was in the lead when they went by 207 and that was the first I noticed them. I thought the gorilla chasing the banana would've made more sense. They were about done by that point, maybe the gorilla is just in better shape than the banana and pulled past him.
