Glad Manning is gone. Now maybe we can get an OC that can get plays in on time and goes under center on 4th and inches instead of handing off to a stationary rb and expecting him to get 6 yards to get an inch.

Turns out the people that immediately assumed the worst of how Campbell would handle things were stupid? Never saw that coming.

Would it be possible that Meyers stays if it was Manning that was really pulling the strings as the Oline coach?
I truly wouldn't have a problem with this, but don't think a newbie at that position can happen after this year. Experience will be needed.
Why? He coaches wide receivers and they sucked this year outside of Hutchinson. I'd blame 3 losses on wide receiver drops alone. Great recruiter though.
That was one of the weirdest claims some were making. Campbell has made changes before. He just hasn't had to make many because he's been largely successful up until this season.
That would basically mean Myers was a wasted position. One that could have gone to a ST coach.

Part of me thinks that the Andrews decision was due to the regressing OL production. Look at Iowa, their OL, has been garbage since Doyle got shown the door.
I get it that people don’t need to be an ass on Twitter to Tom and Dave on their way out, but expressing that we are glad that changes are made is not a big deal. This is big boy football where they both made a lot of money. It needed to happen and they both had to know it was coming.

I think he'll be a good head coach one day but I feel like we need someone from outside the program, maybe someone Campbell can be assured can to do their own thing so Campbell can less involved. I feel like him and Manning were doing OC by committee in some ways and we just need a fresh mindset.
Also not a close friend or someone already in the program so it's easier to fire them later lmao
Williams is not a source. Supposedly covers the team but Adam Rittenberg, a national writer broke this news. I like what CW has done but seriously who would tell the guy whose brand is drunk podcasts and tweets anything?
