Hoping Sama can work into the "trying" since we basically don't have a LT, athletic. 6'8 340 would do wonders in fixing our offense.

In the era of the transfer portal, I don’t understand stuffing your class full of guys with no other P5 options like Iowa is doing now.

Lol I have no idea where you are getting that 3 number. Iowa has taken 3 in last three weeks. Which was my point. The days of just filling up your class near signing day with reaches should be over. You can let those guys go to G6 teams and FBS then get them later if they develop.

I see Nebby is hiring Rhule. Iowa fans, if you're up against them just watch out because they'll likely have a goon pick a fight with your best player.
The more I think about the big ten, is it best for them to go to divisions? Right now the east can say they have played one or two decent teams. If they put them together, how can OSU and Michigan defend their records if they play 5 west teams and then Rutgers, indy and Maryland? That’s a crap SOS. Probably around 80 or so.

Looks like strong possibility of Cade McNamara to Iowa.
Word is Padilla is going medical field as physician, so may really be interested in backup role and focusing on medical career. He is not gonna get another big time opportunity. Small school may take the chance if he chose to go.
I have zero info on McNamara but Padilla is rumored to be done with football and Labas still hasn't learned the playbook after 2 years in the program so he's probably not the next guy.
So hear me out, would Iowa try and persuade Petras to stay?
Is there a connection to McNamara? Otherwise why would he choose Iowa of all places? I'm guessing he will have a pretty big list of suitors. Sure the starting job would be his but why would he want to play in that offense?
