...is anyone else dreading listening to Mel Kiper explain who the top 15 offensive tackles in college football are for the next few months? Seriously, why is there SOO much coverage for the NFL Draft...I don't care if the Jets are leaning towards taking a Left Guard from Southwestern Louisiana Community College with the 23rd pick in the draft...the NBA draft doesn't get one-tenth of the coverage the NFL draft does, and there are bigger difference makers in the NBA draft. MLB doesn't get 1/1000th of the coverage for it's draft...I'm sorry, I just had to vent, as I am absolutely dreading seeing Todd McShay and Mel Kiper on Sportscenter every stinking day breaking down their top 10 at each position.

I couldn't agree more! I have been spewing off about this for the last few years. It is beyond explaining how ridiculous the coverage of this garbage is.

I pay very little attention to draft coverage--at least until a week or two before and then the days of. If it bothers you guys so much, I suggest you do the same.

I try not to...but I watch Sportscenter nearly every day-and it's a CONSTANT...I guess it makes more time for me to go to the bathroom or get something from the fridge...but then what are commercials for?

If you're a regular watcher of SportsCenter, then I guess I see your point.

I refuse to listen to a man who has hair like this...

Kiper is kind of an idiot sometimes, but I absolutely LOVE the NFL draft. I usually make out my own mock draft in the weeks leading up to the draft. I really enjoy it because it can affect each team really fast... it's great. I love it... Sorry. Don't agree with you.

I love the NFL draft. I also enjoy watching Kiper and Todd McShay argue on ESPN since it's obvious Kiper hates him.

Yeah, I love the draft. Coverage gets bigger every year, but I've never thought it was too much. Now that football's over they have to find a new sport to talk about... Offseason football!!!

It's better than watching hockey highlights!!!

What the crap is this? ESPN only let's you see the first half of Kiper's mock, you have to be an "Insider" to see the whole thing. Lame.

\The sportds seasons:

A> College/NFL Football
B> Spring Football
C> NFL Draft

Oh, college hoops, MLB and the NBA draft come in there somewhere, but to me the NBA game has lost a little something. And they're all really fillers around football. Well, except for Cyclone hoops.
