Yikes that wont look good after a season with some rain. Good thing we never get rain in the fall
G7 will always be G7 it appears. And that is a bit concerning for what big RVs will do.
I cant believe they arent paving that.
I know what that crap they have there is. They put that in a parking lot I used once. Said it was a great base that packed like Blacktop. It wasnt, it turned to mush every time it rained. After 1 summer they had to completely redo it and pave it because it had turned into a mud pit.
If it is what I think it is (blacktop road grindings) it will be a terrible mess this fall with RVs and trucks driving on it, especially after a rain or 2.
He's has referred to it as CyTown several times now, in speaking about it. I don't know if that is the official name for it, or what he is calling it, but that is what he has referred to it as for a while now.

I guess I dont know what else they would call it, besides some donor name, which Im not sure would make sense.
We all like to call it Pollard and light, but we know that will never happen.
Calling it Pollard and Light is stupid. Power and Light District is called that because it was built next to the KC Power and Light building. So the Ames equivalent, would be Mid American Energy District.
Personally, I much prefer CyTown over Mid American Energy district. Especially since Pollard envisioned Green Bay’s Trophy Town when creating it.
No one thought they were going to call it the pollard and light district lol
