Looking for recommendations for a new propane grill. I don't want to spend a lot of money, but something with good quality as I'm tired or replacing my grill every 4 to 5 years. I don't need a big one as most of the time I will be cooking for two of us. Something that if I want to, I can add a cast iron griddle for frying vegetables or eggs.

If you want something that’s going to last past 4-5 years, Weber is the answer. I don’t think there’s a cheaper option that will have any sort of longevity like that.

I know a few people that have fed their families off a two burner and done just fine. Ours is a three and we probably never use the whole surface.

I have a Weber Spirit E-310. It has three burners and it a lower priced Weber. Best grill I have ever owned. I’ve had it about 5 years with no issues. Prior to this grill I had always bought a lower quality grill from Sears or Walmart like a Char Broil. They never lasted and the cooking surface never had uniform heat. There were always hot and cold spots. My Weber is uniform which makes grilling so much better. I also started using a digital meat thermometer with the Weber grilling app. No more over or under cooking. I think Weber has a cast iron griddle, but I just use a lodge griddle on mine.

Honestly, I would just buy a Weber. It will last you forever and they always have parts if something does go wrong. In the end, over 15-20 years, you’ll save money with a Weber.

I have a Weber Kettle with the side table, I’ve had it for 20 years and it still looks good. At 10 years I went to move it during the winter. The feet were frozen to the patio and I didn’t know it. I lifted at the table to move it and the table snapped. I called Weber because I couldn’t find the part online. I said it has to be well out of warranty so need to buy the table. Their response was that that should not have happened, then they overnighted me the table top out free of charge.

This is outdated from a price standpoint, but gives some good points on grills out there. I have a Spirit e310 as well and have enjoyed it very much.
