Just saw this: 'Fantasy Island' actor Ricardo Montalban dead at 88 - CNN.com

He was always such a class act, and a wonderful human being. Growing up in the 70's, he was everywhere. And he was fantastic. He did so much too, he played a large role in changing the ways Hispanics were stereotyped in Hollywood.

Married to the same woman 63 years. Raised 4 children. Lived a wonderful, rich life of 88 years. That was a life worth living.

OJ Simpsom

Co starring with OJ Simpson and Pricilla Presely will always be the way I remember him. Frank Drebin got his man!!! The Naked Gun

Rest in Peace, sir!

Fun Phaedrus factoid: He and I share the same chronic pain condition, both of which were caused by a back injury resulting from getting thrown from a horse.

I really AM the forum Forrest Gump, aren't I?

My back is acting up today because of the cold, so I'll dedicate it to Mr. Montalban...

Being thrown from a horse doesn't sound very Phaedrus-like. I would think being thrown from a camel, wildebeast or wild elephant would be more in your wheelhouse.

Star Trek II is a favorite of mine, and this movie sequence is one of my all time faves. Ricardo was a great villian...

BTW, change your password occasionally...things must be alot better in the future if you can get away with only 5-digit passwords...

Classic. That bug crawling into Checkhov's ear is one of the most profound images of my childhood!
