Anything of course could happen. But I just don't see unequal revenue sharing every happening. It has only happened once and almost led to the death of a conference. No group is going to get behind that and OSU has been in the same conference for over a century and it has never been brought up once.

No, I dont think they go to the SEC. I think they do the scenerio I just posted where they say screw everyone else and bail with the other big money teams so they can make more with the big SEC teams and not share with the lower teams in the Big 10 anymore.
That's a bluff. Nobody played non conference in the covid year, which is when they were going to jump. They would have had nobody to play

Which shows teams will do things that don’t necessarily make sense to people. OU was about 5MM behind Texas, around 9-10MM on tier 3s I was thinking, was making the playoffs on a regular basis and they left also.

Texas thinks everyone is below them. In everything. Not just the Big 12. The state thinks every other state is below them. They have an ego problem.
But UT believes everyone is below them. Every school, it will be the same in the SEC. It was the same in the SWC.

Never say never in realignment. Regimes and leadership come and go. New leaders have different ideas than the previous administrations.
Deloss Dodds openly made fun of the SEC before his retirement.
Notre Dames Leadership tried twice to get into the Big 10 before WW2 and were rebuffed twice by the conference.

When both the SEC and B10 are throwing out numbers of $100 million or more per school, and to get into the league you have to bring in that number, the only school out there left then is ND, that can do that.
This round of expansion is almost over, ND is going to stay independent, and the ACC is going to be intact, at least for now. The only question to still be answered is what the 4 corner schools are going to do, and that would come down to how much money the P12 schools are going to get compared to if they joined the B12. If they stay in the P12, then everything stops, if they jump, then the pressure is then on Oregon, Washington and Stanford, on what to do next.

OSU has been in the big ten for over a century and hasn't ever caused any problems or done things to rock the boat. Texas has been causing **** for years. Huge difference that again you cant see because of your past experience with them so you just assume everyone like them conducts themselves the same way.
To the two Big 10 fans in here or any that might show up later, I really want to know your perspectives as to why you think the tops of the P2 wouldn't do what we're saying they will. The only common factor through all of realingment so far has been the pursuit of money. Why would Ohio State suddenly be like "Ok. we have enough money now, time to stop" when there's more obvious angles for them to make money, namely either asking for unequal revenue or doing what's happening/happened/about to happen to the rest of the P5 conferences and leave them in the dust to make even more money. What motivation do they have to keep making the same money as Northwestern when NW doesn't bring bring anything in and OSU are the biggest money makers in the league. Same for the SEC. If someone gets in their ear and says "hey, if you want more money leave the lucky to be there teams behind. We're telling the SEC powers the same thing. You'll make more money if you both ditch the losers and join this new thing we're doing." Why would they say no? The sanctity of the game hasn't matter yet so why would it now? Winning not being sustainable for everyone hasn't either so why would it now?
