Grill is an average shooter who has the ability to catch fire. He was good for the role he was put in last year which was 3 and D. He has a very high motor and forced a ton of turnovers all year long.

I think I agree with this. I am not about to go out and predict Tony will be an all conference guy or anything, but his base stats should look pretty good (Points, assists, rebounds etc). What remains to be seen is if he can be efficient with the increased usage rate.

Perkins is good. He was bad against Richmond, but he was far and away their second best player the last half of this season. Not sure he can be a PG. If you have a lineup with Perkins, Sandfordt, Pat, Kris and Rebraca that team is going to struggle to initiate any offense. Not to mention, Perkins is going to have to take on the best perimeter offensive player if they have any chance at getting a few stops.

Their freshman PG is a top 100 guy I believe, but as we've seen with Wigginton and even Hunter and Monte, all who were ranked higher, stepping into PG as a true Fr. in a P6 league is really hard.

It all depends on how teams like Maryland, NW, Nebraska, Minnesota and Penn State are. Being able to essentially chalk up 8 automatic wins helps.

Grill was a scoring machine in HS. He can shoot, but he is not good under pressure, which is exactly the position that TJ put him in most of the time. Maybe he will settle down a little and get back to his HS form. He was awful at ISU the first time, making 1 of his first 20 as a Cyclone if I recall correctly. I think he was decent at UNLV. Guy is a great effort player.

I know I say this all the time, but Grill is a good 2-3 years behind the typical P6 player in the amount of basketball he has played. All these other kids probably since 6th/7th grade on up were playing a ton of games on the AAU circuit year round, while he was playing FB, baseball and track all at a very high level. As inconsistent as he was, he's way better all around than he was as a Fr, and now that he'll have his first year of stability I think he will get a lot better yet.

PMac
Murray
Rebraca

With Sandfort and CMac getting heavy minutes and Mulvey in the rotation. If they land a transfer, then they would also be in the rotation would be my guess.
