You would think Iowa would have a lot of experience playing with slippery balls
Just gonna say it - Iowa hasn't beaten a team that is a 6 seed or higher since their last Sweet 16 run in 1999.
I wouldn't doubt there were a lot of watch parties planned for today, thinking beating Richmond wasn't going to be a problem.
They can still hold "pity" parties so they can sit around blaming the refs, Pollard, slippery Wilson basketballs, playing on the portable floor above ice, having to play in a wide open arena to throw off their normal accurate pin-point three-point shooting, the Tom Davis curse....am I missing anything?
Tyrese Hunter didn't seem to mind the Wilson ball.
I still don't get the blaming Pollard thing. They got a great draw with a relatively easy path, and I'll admit I was one of the ones who thought this was the year Fran finally makes the 2nd weekend. Won't make that mistake again.
