Down goes Iowa

I miss him around here. I also miss pants and the marshalltown kid.

When did M-Town take the ban or did he/she just quit posting? Pants popped up for 1 post in the Ukraine thread a couple of weeks ago.

Poor Iowa. It was one thing to be sent to the east coast, but even worse to have to put up with raining giant spiders.

Since the PIG is considered in the tourney, Fran is 6-11 all time in NCAA tourney. 0-1 in round of 68, 6-4 in round of 64, 0-6 in round of 32. He has won as a #13, #9, #7, #7, #10 and #2 seed. Two of his wins are against higher seeds, (won as #13 seed at Siena and #10 seed at Iowa. I consider 8-9 to be the same). He has lost twice as the higher seed (last two years as #2 seed). So much like the regular season, he wins most of the games he is supposed to, 50/50 in toss up games and loses to higher seed (better teams). He has pulled two upsets and been upset twice. For a D1 coach, I would say he defines average.

So wrong? Tournament, yes. Big10 tournament and end of regular season, no. Stated clearly several times Fran needed to produce in year 12 because he finally had a team on an unusual run in Feb/March. You act like I'm the only basketball watcher that was impressed with their hot streak. I don't care if it did involve some teams like Nebr, Rutgers, Indiana, Northwestern. I was just as impressed w/ the Cyclones when they beat OU, KState, TCU, and WV in that four game stretch to get us in.

Kris Murray is not avg 20+ points a game...People have this perception that "Hey look how much Keegan improved'! Kris average 20 min a game this year..Kid is 22 this year. I can see him average 13-15 ppg. 20+ nah.

Kris just doesn't have near the game on the block that Keegan does...not even close really.

I have no idea. The rumor I heard was him and a hawk were arguing about a hawk player getting NIL payments.
Seems like the discussions about the 5 star DB deciding to go to TOE was about the same time he was banned. Don't know what he said that was perma ban worthy.
