Tough day for EIU hoops hopes

I guess I haven't seen the distinction in the fan reaction. They are fans so are disappointed their guy didn't win. No different than when ISU fans thought Kolar should have won the Mackey or Rose should have won a LB award or something.
Haha Not even close. Swing and a miss.

Because you have measured such a thing? LOL.
Nobody even posted anything besides maybe saying, shoot, I was hoping he would have gotten it. Which was usually followed up by, but I understand why so and so got it instead. Which all was on message boards, no one was flaming people on twitter to my knowledge.

You can find anything on Twitter if you look. I can understand either fan base arguing these things. It's what we do.

Which I don't doubt, but I don't do twitter, Instagram, snap chat, facebook or any of that stuff. CF is it. I guess I have a LinkedIn account that I look at every month or two for no reason at all, but that is it. I'm not into that drama and don't care what you had for lunch or if you had a good bowel movement.

Sometimes these are related.

Right or wrong I think Iowa's SOS probably hurt Murray chances. That OOC schedule was awful and doubling up on the bottom of the B1G definitely puts an asterisk next to some of his stats.
This cannot be overlooked. Keegan really padded his stats in the early going against the brothers and sisters of the poor. He is a great player, certainly one of the Big 10s best, but I don't get the wailing and gnashing of teeth by their fans that he didn't win it. You finished 5th. As good as Keegan was, he couldn't elevate the team like Davis did his.

Again I'm fine with Davis winning, but Keegan had a really good case too. In the end, someone was going to be disappointed as both players and Cockburn all had strong arguments for winning it.

I agree Cockburn should feel the most snubbed IMO. Illinois just isn't the same team without him. You remove Keegan from Iowa or Davis from Wisconsin, sure that hurts, but both are probably still tournament teams. Kofi is the most dominant player in the Big 10 if sheer going off of that.

LOL, Iowa isn't a tournament team without Keegan. Also, the metrics say that Keegan was the most dominant FWIW.

I'm not sure on that with Iowa I think if everyone was playing as good early in year as now (Perkins, Kris, sandfort) maybe but we would of been too far behind during the learning curve. Davis is very deserving though too that's fair

I just disagree with you entirely. Fran would have had someone else puffed up and ready to fill the volume scorer role. Probably Kris, but could've been Perkins or Jorbo too.

Well I just disagree with you. Perkins isn't efficient enough, Kris isn't ready (maybe next year) and Jorbo can't create his own shot and can't score in the lane.

Who is Fran going to give the B1G Sportsmanship Award to next year? Maggie? I mean he's given it to both his boys already.
