*** Official Oklahoma State vs IOWA STATE Game(Day) Thread ***

people say rebounding is all about want to, but I see our guys trying, they just don't have the length, they literally do not possess the physical ability to get high balls against a taller longer team

Like seriously did Enaruna kill someone?

Best thing I can figure out, is that TJ is just harder on Enaruna and holds him to a higher standard. Perhaps it's unfair (my thought), but perhaps it's because he thinks Enaruna can be better than he has been? Either way, I struggle to understand it. Particularly in a game like this where we're struggling, why not mix it up and give him a chance.

It seems to be an odd culmination of all our weaknesses being exposed at the same time.

Lack of shooters
Poor rebounding against a bigger team
Poor free throw shooting
Lack of top end athleticism to compete with a team with a lot of top end athletes.
Tyrese and Izaiah having to finish amongst the trees
Jaden Walker kind of reverting to a floor

Normally we are involved in good defensive games. This isn’t one of them. Defense isnt good by either team, just horrible offense.

That’s a product of “let them play”…and why I always think it’s dumb when people claim that results in good basketball.

Same goes with finishing at the rim and really against this type of team that's got more length you have to be super wide open on 3s.
