That was the most frustrating win I’ve ever seen across any sport

Did you not watch the great muddy UNI Drake-ISU FB game a while back?

WVU was 24 for 27 from FT line, which is bordering on insane ... ISU only 67% percent, but I'm a bit surprised we ISU 30 FT attempts (3 more than WVa) ...

And ISU was outrebounded 34-23.

And won!

Going 10 of 19 from 3 certainly offset some of that ... even though for a long stretch WVU was hitting everything from there, too. .

I was about to comment after the last game that watching IB brought back memories of Stevens and Grayer. Thought that might be a bit of an overstatement.

It isn't

Barry was a beautiful player- so smooth.

I think the best game I ever saw in person by a Cyclone was Ejim's 48 pt & 20ish rebounds against TCU. He was walking on water that day.

Wvu shot 89% from the line as a team and made it there a lot. That is unreal. Best individual ft shooters in the country typically shoot low 90's

Fortunately a bad 3pt shooting isu team shot lights out from downtown tonight to negate that.

Tough, gutty win. Also really liked the Cyclones' offensive efficiency: 55% FG%, 53% 3pt%, assisted 19 of 27 FG, only 9 TOs. Now need to clean up defensive rebounding and cutting off drive to the rim; WVU got to the rack way too easily
