Kohl’s no longer a take for Iowa. He’d be a good get for ISU though.Mota would have been a great steal from Eastern Iowa..
Really need to land Patton, Black and Kohl (Unless Avery Johnson wants to ball out in Ames)
Obviously more talent than BF is comfortable working with.Kohl’s no longer a take for Iowa. He’d be a good get for ISU though.

Agreed. The staffs evaluation of quarterbacks in high school hasn’t been good. But I really like Lainez film.Very happy we got Lainez, but I hope missing out on Kohl doesn't turn out to be a mistake. It is a great scenario for ISU though since I think Kohl would go to Iowa if offered.
It’s quite possible Kohl turns out to be the better quarterback. Although for his size he appears to have very average arm strength. I’m guessing he’s more of a projection that I will improve there since he’s a big kid.Obviously more talent than BF is comfortable working with.
Who is ISU landing over Iowa? Black maybe, but I expect Patton to Iowa. Out of state Tyler Gant is an Iowa lean too.You should have seen us last class. I expect similar this class.
I have a weird feeling that they have a better chance at Proctor than they do Kasper.Black would be a bigger get than Patton IMO. Kasper is not coming to Iowa, my feeling is that he ends up at USC. Iowa doesn't have a problem with getting decent defensive backs but they do with WRs. I'd take Patton hands down because he is a stuf, but if I had to pick, I would take Black. Opposite could be said for ISU. Getting WR talent is not an issue, but solid DBs can be. Both teams could come out happy here.
That feeling is common sense. Iowa actually develops OLs, Iowa’s record with WR development under Ferentz is pretty awful. Kasper’s family connections might be able to overcome that, but you can understand his reservations. Especially with the staff that just took over at USC.I have a weird feeling that they have a better chance at Proctor than they do Kasper.
Pretty sure Proctor favors IowaI have a weird feeling that they have a better chance at Proctor than they do Kasper.
It’s been better recently but overall yes it’s been pretty pathetic. Their route trees are pretty terrible for wide receivers. Highly predictable. It’s the hardest position to sell to recruits at Iowa. That feeling is common sense. Iowa actually develops OLs, Iowa’s record with WR development under Ferentz is pretty awful. Will be interesting to see who Iowa can land at the other skill positions. I really really want Kaden Feagin and Markway.
So we’re going to Indy again? Not a huge deal who they get considering Brian Ferentz is still the OC
