Fine. Let's just ask the source. @JStanz51, do you think there is any expectation by the coaching staff that he has a chance to play this semester?
Or there is almost no chance, and the answer is already in this thread. With the lack of of a response from Stanz, this must be premium board material.....
I see tre is in ISU student directory. Not yet listed on cyclones dot com roster.
Not worried - just interesting the lack of official announcement on him.
Randy Peterson article says he will not play this yearHe's on the team roster on the website now. In the announcement it says he will provide immediate help...does that mean he is actually eligible to play right away or just that he can practice with the team and attend games on the bench?

It's just odd that that the staff doesn't come out and say whether or not they intend to play King this season (if the waiver is granted).
The year ends in 2 days sooooo....Randy Peterson article says he will not play this year
Probably trying to walk-on at a community college back in Mississippi. I can't imagine any good program taking a flyer on a guy who sells out on his coaches and teammates a week before the season starts.Hope he can really help us in practice and then be a relevant contributor next season, whenever that may be. ( by the way, does anyone know where Blake Hinson ended up?...and please no "who cares" replies. )
We don't know whether he left on his own or was asked to leave.Probably trying to walk-on at a community college back in Mississippi. I can't imagine any good program taking a flyer on a guy who sells out on his coaches and teammates a week before the season starts.
He should get the waiver to play in the non conference since he dropped out of school on Oct 15th, shouldn't he? Wouldn't he technically be eligible to play October 15th?
