For those that had the Covid booster, How long did the side effects last?

I (36) got hit pretty good. The second dose of the primary also took me out for a day or two.

Got the shot noon on Friday
Saturday - Ran a 101-102 fever all day, nasty headache, tired.
Sunday - Two small runs of low grade fever, tired, lymph node in my arm pit felt like it was the size of a lemon
Monday - Tired, swollen lymph node
Tuesday - Back to normal.

Both of my sisters (39 & 42) got hit for 1-2 days. Younger brother (33) got his and went and played ultimate frisbee all weekend. Parents (66 & 69) had no side effects.

Daughter and I had our boosters yesterday afternoon. Nothing but a minor sore spot - just like my second shot.

I just saw a message in my work email from Walter Wong with the subject line "From Walter Wong."
I was so excited I deleted it immediately.

some of the discussion reminded me I needed to get my booster at 5:45 tonight. I had a breakthrough infection right around six months after my 2nd shot so I figured it would be good to wait. I'm receiving the Pfizer booster. Is that one more or less effective than the Moderna booster? I've had Pfizer for the first two so I thought it made sense to stick with that.

Well the storm whacked my folks place pretty hard. Spent today getting the generator going and removing damaged shed doors. There will be multiple days of picking up stuff. We'll just work at it and get it done. lots of tin to go to the scrap yard. It will be good that this will make us sort keepable from recycling and thin out some things, that were just taking up space.

I think Moderna actually is...but 3 shots plus infection and you should be in good shape either way.

I did the 3rd shot as well and am a prior Covider too but venturing 'back' into society has not been all that great.

Not in a Covid way. I just really have a lower tolerance for crowds.

Covider? Do we get labeled that now? Not sure if I like that name or not, lol.

Gym opens at 5 am. Said neighbor leaves at 4:30 to wait in parking lot. I get there a couple minutes before it opens.

They were a couple minutes late to open the door for all 5 of us. Said neighbor complains and wants a month free. Dude complains about everything! Maybe I should take his wife up on her offer to get rid of the old chain link between us as she has said they would go 50/50 on the cost. I wonder if I should tell him about this?

Covidee?

I don't like 'survivor' or 'recovered' because my case (thankfully) wasn't much to recover from or survive.

I certainly didn't suffer--essentially locked myself in my apartment for two weeks with very little human contact. THAT's how you staycation.

Wow, that thing looks like it would have to take corners like a semi!

Covidite?

At Wifeypoo's insistence, I got my booster a couple weeks back. Like my original (J&J) shot, no ill effects whatsoever.
12/1 I go to get tested, as my (still at home) daughter actually had covid, and had quarantined in our basement, and we were going to visit my in-law and parents. Guess who tested positive? Zero symptoms, but I quarantined until this past Saturday. It's weird--slept in the same bed with my spouse the whole time and she got a negative test.
