More significantly, however, Ryan Day is connected to the Bears job which would open up OSU. Fickell would be first in line and I doubt he would turn it down, but certainly something to watch for.
Whatever on that note too, but your free to not like him anyway. I'm not even judging that part as I've not set any records for wins at ND. Guess its been working for him so, swing away coach. Long as we agree taking the job is not the problem.

Not from OH, no. Seems to be coming from Chicago media due to Justin Fields being the QB.

I look for Notre Dame to end up being better then what they were under Kelly. Rees and Freeman are great recruiters and are two of the top young assistants out there. Happy for them, but happier for ISU.
I don’t think the Bears would outspend Ohio State for a coach they wanted. Cheap with their front office and coaches.
