No one said anyone is perfect. But no matter how you look at it, that's a cringe worthy quote from your head coach. I fully believe KF meant it as a joke and would like to have it back as he may have just got caught up in the question. Still, just not a good look as it's more a reflection on the program -> which let's be honest doesn't have the greatest reputation at developing QBs.
You could have summed it up by saying "he wins." Because clearly it doesn't matter what else he does as long as he wins games.

KF is not perfect. But guess what? Your lord and savior Matt Campbell isn't perfect either. CyTwins isn't perfect and I am not perfect. But, KF is a class act. He represents the state of Iowa well. He replaced Hayden and has kept Iowa relevant most seasons. He has definitely kept the state a "Hawkeye state." It is not easy to win at Iowa or Iowa State. He has helped develop so many walk-ons, 2 stars, and 3 stars into pros. A great majority of former players love him. Players like Wadley and DJK are bitter because they never made the NFL.

Kurk Freerentz knows that he can degrading things about his players because the local media wont call him out about it. What he said about Hogan is a hell of alot worse than CMC said about winning champoinships but yet again the local media will just bow down to the almighty Kurk.
