My column from the win in Manhattan.

That first play was a thing of beauty! The O-Line, every one of them held their blocks. Then C. Allen sealed the inside edge perfectly. J. Rus busted and led Breece well into the secondary. Breece followed it perfectly, patient at first then...gone, down the R side! Loved it!

I might have been able to gain about 10-15 yards there with the blocking, if I'd have been able to get thru the line, which I wouldn't have! LOL

Really set the tone for the game. Good payback for some of KSU ST plays on us recently.

A perfectly blocked play IMHO...Before the game the Offensive Coordinator Tom Manning said... "that K State liked to bring more players to the line of scrimmage on running plays" ...reviewing the tape it looks to me like they brought ten players to the line as the play developed and only one to chase Breece Hall...BIG MISTAKE AND THEY PAID FOR IT.

I would have loved to be sitting next to the KSU section and seen the response from their fans.....

I was curious how he got through there so easily, and seeing the replay, it was perfectly blocked. Three Cyclone blockers created a wall 5 yards downfield.
