I like that they'll explore an interesting character I know nothing about.

Agree with this, there’s a lot about the character of Agatha that we just don’t know a lot about in terms of the MCU. I could see them going in some interesting directions with her series. Especially with the hints of blue Atlantean magic in her one flashback scene.

Those are some strong words for Daredevil!

Season 2 was saved by including the intro to the other character. (not sure how to do the spoiler thing) I really dislike all of the Hand storylines. Almost killed DD Season 2, definitely help me hate Iron Fist, and accounts for much of my dislike for The Defenders.

That said, DD is a very good series and it was sad when they cancelled it. Hoping the rumors are true that its being revived. The Punisher series was also fantastic! The others were great when they had great villains: The Purple Man and Cotton Mouth come to mind.

Good point. I should exclude the 2nd half of S2, and then my point still stands on all the Daredevil seasons.

Fun Personal Daredevil Fact: There was a character named John Healy in Daredevil S1 who worked for Fisk and was the main bad guy in the one episode where he goes in and kills a guy in a bowling alley right at the beginning of the episode. Anyway, the actor who plays this guy is Alex Morf from Mount Vernon, IA and was a friend of my sister. He even took her to a dance in high school. Alex also plays villain Victor Zsasz in the Batwoman TV show, which I can't comment on because I haven't seen it.

DD was like every Netflix Marvel show - each season was probably 2-4 episodes too long. They all could have been way tighter.

This guy gets it.

The contractual 13 episodes were killer to momentum in a lot of these shows. They all suffered from some sort of midseason swoon and endings that were drawn out about 1 episode too many.

Lots of rumors about a S4 of Daredevil actually happening on Disney+. Nothing confirmed and is probably just wishful thinking. Also rumors of Kingpin in Hawkeye since Fisk ties heavily into Echo's backstory. Maybe if people get their wish about a DD cameo in No Way Home, perhaps there might be a reason to hope for more.

Daredevil is the best consistently good series of all the Marvel TV Netflix series for sure. Punisher is likely second best. Daredevil S3 is maybe my favorite season of any TV show I've ever seen and is better than any of the new series Marvel Studios has produced so far. In fact, every Daredevil season is.

Ok, does Punisher and DD coincide in the timeline? Is there an order that makes sense for those two series?

Here is the technical timeline order for all the Marvel netflix shows in and of themselves.

  1. Daredevil (Season 1)
  2. Jessica Jones (Season 1)
  3. Daredevil (Season 2)
  4. Luke Cage (Season 1)
  5. Iron Fist (Season 1)
  6. The Defenders (Limited Series)
  7. The Punisher (Season 1)
  8. Jessica Jones (Season 2)
  9. Luke Cage (Season 2)
  10. Iron Fist (Season 2)
  11. Daredevil (Season 3)
  12. The Punisher (Season 2)
  13. Jessica Jones (Season 3)
If you consider them official MCU canon (debatable), here is the best website for how all the differing Marvel TV shows fit into the overall MCU timeline:

Slightly concerning

Sad that we won't get more Spiderman following the MCU formula. Since its all Sony has of marvel, I anticipate them to continue releasing Spiderman related content. Just as I plan to watch yet another remake of batman, I'll likely watch all their future takes on Spidey. For the record: The Disney Junior version is not worth watching, but I like that its getting my 2 year old into Spiderman!

Anyone else become so spoiled with Marvel content that it feels like October is taking forever because nothing new comes out this month? Might as well be spring in college sports world.

This but also Star Wars\Star Trek.

This no new either Star Wars or MCU content each and every week is a bunch of bull crap. Who do they think we are? Good thing I've got Titans to watch right now, otherwise I would be more pissed.

Forgot I have unwatched Titans episodes! Thanks for the reminder! I've been in a show hole since Netflix lost (TOS, VOY, ENT). Just two nights ago I found the TOS movies on Hulu and I'm ready for The Wrath of Kahn.

There has been a new Below Decks season just finish up that I have not watched yet. Waiting for some Paramount content to compile for me to grab a month to watch it.
