Iowa vs Penn State

Part of JF's response is pretty telling...

"They don't run a tempo offense. It was not part of our plan."

So it's not like he came out and said that's not something the PSU program does or believes in. "They don't run a tempo offense." So what, if Iowa did run a tempo offense it's something you'd include in the gameplan?

Total bush league by JF, glad he's getting called out on it.

Yeah my source tells me that the rules committe is looking into how to deal with fake injuries specifically because of Franklin. This is known throughout all of Big10.

Recruits seemed to love the fans. As did Klatt and Gus.
Two Pros and a Cup of Joe had some good things to say about Iowa City, the game, and atmosphere. Lavar Arrington said that it lived up to the hype. Brady Quinn called it the one of the coolest experiences playing or post playing that he has ever experienced.

That's rough for Iowa. A lot of people watched them win only because a QB got hurt and saw Iowa fans booing injured players. I hope viewers were smart enough to know Iowa State fans wouldn't do that
I’ll bet viewers were very concerned about what an unranked 3-2 teams fans would do while they were watching 2 top 5 teams slug it out.

I thought ISU fans thought Franklin is an upstanding coach who would never do anything wrong at all, and totally believe the BS he spews? Which is it, is Franklin scum, or a walking hero for calling out Iowa fans?

If there was only an honest broker hawk fan like @State of Iowa Fan who would step in and tell you what a terrible representative of the Iowa fan base you are.

It’s still amazing a guy looking for nothing more than good conversation, because he supports both teams wouldn’t be embarrassed by you.

Kirk has direct knowledge Franklin coaches this.

Good for him for calling it out.

Wait, an internal report that detailed racism, from his son and best friend, in his program was a blind spot, but he knows about James franklin’s behavior

You’re really stupid.

Imagine a National program like Penn st drawing viewers

but you guys are so stupid, you don’t even realize how this absolutely proves how jealous and crazy last year made you.

btw, you’re a pathetic loser
Last Year ? You almost made it to 10 wins we are so jealous !

I will admit that, yes, I have seen some teams around the country employ the tactics of faking injuries to slow down a fast-paced offense. Some of the instances can look really bad and even comical.

Not a single instance of the Penn State injuries Saturday fit that description. The Lions not only lost five players to injuries in the game -- so they actually were dealing with a big injury issue -- the other guys who went down to the turf are some of the team's best defensive players.

It's completely idiotic to think that Penn State wants guys like Arnold Ebiketie and JaquanBrisker to go to the turf, fake injuries and then have to miss plays.

Oh, but Ferentz said those guys came back into the game a few plays later. That sort of thing happens frequently in football, where a guy gets dinged, needs a quick breather and gets back out there.

Iowa fans and assistant coach Woods felt Ebiketie was faking an injury on the following play. That's when Woods fell down on the sideline, acting like he was injured. They all felt like Ebiketie was fine.

But check out the second video -- which is the play BEFORE. Clearly you can see Ebiketie (17) hobbling after getting knocked to the ground. So it completely shoots down the theory that he was just faking it on the next play.
