Horrible qb play. Hats off to the Hawks. Hate to see it but they were the better team. Gonna be a wild night in Iowa City.

I have to say, its been a while to see a team playing on the edge and getting every break like EIU is now. The Penn. St. QB is eating them alive and then he gets hurt, and Penn St. basically just stopped throwing the ball down the field, trying to run and throw short passes allowing EIU back into the game.
Has anyone ever seen a team take a penalty when declining it would get them off the field on 4th down? But EIU did today, on the chop block. Playing field position, and defense. Turnovers 1 to 4. They will be undefeated until the the championship game.
They aren't lucky. They are fundamentally sound and have some big time players on defense. They'll do this all year until they play someone like Bama.Hope one those unranked teams end these fools. Nobody should be this lucky. for 6 games.

You don't know that.Yet they lose today without PSU losing their QB. That's lucky.

Right... knocking out the starting qb who was eating the Hawks up is "not lucky".. checks out. They aren't lucky. They are fundamentally sound and have some big time players on defense. They'll do this all year until they play someone like Bama.
Did you notice I was talking about their defense? Defense wins championships. If they had any kind of an actual offense I'd call them "fundamentally sound". If their punter isn't the best punter in CFB they're not 6-0. Hell - they're not 6-0 if Penn St's QB doesn't get injured.
