ESPN OTL right now

The story about our former coach is on ESPN right now again. DO not know if it is a rerun from yesterday or not.
This is turning into a pretty big deal... Wow blaming it on an interracial marriage. Not sure if thats what it was but I have to say that it really doesnt make much sense why they wouldnt hire Gill or Strong over Jizzlik. I blame it on fate, I think we are supposed to get and will get Gill. Supposedly well find out Friday! I cant wait!

They just said that Jizzliks hire at Auburn was one of the worst coaching hires in 30 years. They said it cost Auburn 30-50 Million and set them back 10 years :) Hey Jizzlik aint Karma a b***h, youre ruined!

"He has to win, but I don't see any way that he can win. He is a dead man walking."

"Worst hire since Gerry Faust at Notre Dame"

Way to go Gene!

Wow they were tearing Auburn and their new Coach apart. Bold statement by Paul to say that a booster pulled Millions of his dollars away. Send it here to us, we dont have that Coach anymore.

"could cost them 30-50 Million $$"

wow another hard hitting statement.

IT made Chicago local sports radio last night as well. Boers and Bernstein were talking about the hire. Best thing was, they didn't bash on ISU at all during the segment. They did say ISU should be thankful though, that they would have paid to have him booted out of Ames.

I found this personally amazing because the only talk that really ever happens here on a Monday is about the Bears and the Bulls, if they are playing.

to buy out tuberville and the rest of the assistant coaches salaries and penalties for not honoring all of their coach's contracts,it probably took them up to 10 to 12 million dollars of their coins that they had in their athletic purse to buy these guys out..hurry up pollard, get us a new head coach while we can pick some decent assistant coaches from auburn. most of them would have had some decent coaching experience having worked for tuberville. and most of them knew how to win under tommy boy and i am certain most of them are pretty decent recruiters if you look at the 4 star kids that are leaving auburn just because they hired chizzlestick.

He said with TX, Tech, & OU having great QB's and Gene coming into ISU with a QB who isnt really that good he didnt stand much of a chance. I agree Skip is a dipsh*t. I doubt very highly he has EVER watched ISU or Arnaud play.

He's right to a point. All three do have great QB's. Even after seeing Arnaud grow this season you can't put him on that shelf. The Big 12 is full of great QB's, you couldn't find stiffer competition this season. The way he worded it makes him sounds like an *** though.

Of course, we also didn't play any those teams this season so I'm not sure why that comparision makes any sense.
