I'll agree with that. About the only time I enjoy listening to Marty and Miller is when Bama Bob is on.
Is that the big news? Not as big as I expected it with the way they were teasing it. Should have known better, I guess.
Yeah, "big news". I guess some people thought that Jamie left immediately after the presser. They did say that he was on the phone all day, and he is "getting ready". So at least he has some meetings set up.
I'm listening for the first time today, and I'm really scratching my head at all the hate that flies around the board about this show. Outside of them saying it looked like Pollard was "reeling", I really haven't had a problem with anything they said. I like the fact that they seem to think we have a legit chance with Gill. I agree.
I think they have good points now and then...I mean you can always turn it off if you ever get upset.

Well, I am guessing Marty has "inside info" on who the next coach will be, correct? He's always been WAY off- See ISU with Chizik and Drake's basketball coach for example.
To the outside/first time listener, they may not seem so bad. It's when you trust what they say and the exact opposite happens, you realize they are full of it. Right now they are going to be somewhat pro-ISU because it's a big story and they want to act like they are on top of things.
When things go bad for ISU, they will pile on. They just go with whatever they think will get them more listeners.
Shhh. No one's supposed to know that they say good things about us, too.
I really think the nearly universal hate of this show on CF is just regular old group think. It's been all ISU talk today (obviously) but they really aren't saying anything about us that is either a) obviously inflamatory or b) untrue.
I'm not going to put a ton of stock in their "inside info" but, from you read on this board, you would think they spend 90% of their energy slamming ISU. Not what I'm hearing.

Yeah I know what ya mean..I started to listen to em and then old Martha started his rant ...then I stopped the car opened the door and PUKED MY GUTS OUT ... closed the door and then SWITCHED TO ANOTHER STATION!!
