JP basically just shared the pissed off feelings, He said he cant promise anything, but that they have already begun the search and reassured everyone that he was gonna get a guy that knew how to deal with people, would respect them, and not be on a power trip.

I wouldn't mind either one. Both coached have shown the ability to work with athletes and make them better.

A Peterson hire would be a slam-dunk IMO. Cold, little team, successful...and proven to be able to beat the big boys with less talent. I'm sure he would like to fix his eyes off of that blue turf and regain his vision under a BCS school!

There has been a share of criticism over pollards decisions/hirings, but right now, HE IS ALL WE HAVE.

i really feel for JP and am confident he will work dilligently in getting a great coach in here to repair this mess.

33, how was Pollard received by the team? Is he respected or do they assume the worst?

Word. Thank you very much 33. We appreciate how hard you work to keep us on top of things.
not only the work you do to keep us updated...but it sure sound like you are providing the guys with a lot of support-and for that we thank you!

33, please let the whole team know how much we are behind them!

I would cross off TCU's Patterson from the list. Why would he come to ISU if he turned down the KSU job. I believe he played at KSU.

What I find ironic in this whole mess is there were several here that practically worshiped the ground Gene Chizik walked on and now those same people are basically throwing him under the bus. I'm not happy how he left either but not as painful to me as it might be to some of you that thought he was going to do big things here. Time heals wounds and I'm sure many will feel vindicated if he fails at Auburn on top of it.
