I think there was an attempt at the "I will change" maneuver but KF isn't really a dynamic salesperson. His disdain for even having to address this was showing through from the start and I think they were smart to abandon that route.

I have absolutely no idea how you can read that article cover to cover and support Kirk Ferentz and Iowa Football. I just read all of that again and it's so f****** bad.
That was not in the report but by Green himself, who in that article lied about not contacting recruits. The guy is a liar, and because of that I am not going to just blindly believe everything he says.
You seem to blindly believe everything Kirk says and hes the biggest liar in all of this

So many of there fans don't realize brain ferments said those words.
I’d reckon to guess that 75% of their fan base didn’t read a single page from the external investigation, but believe everything’s A-okay because Kirk wasn’t fired.
I’ve said before I think he should be fired. He’s not a very good OC anyways lol
But yet you still support Kirk Ferentz who gave him a raise instead of firing him. Makes so much sense
I am not going to quit liking Iowa football because of the coaches. I am not a huge Brian Ferentz fan. I fully believe he is only there still because his dad is the coach. I cannot speak for all of Iowa fans, but I honestly did not retain all of that information that was said. Some of those guys had really weird stories while others were very unfortunate. A lot of those articles said Kirk was tone deaf but not the problem. Kirk admitted to this and said he is willing to change. I think Iowa is going to be in better shape because of this moving forward. But I am also ready for Kirk to retire ASAP. I think Kirk was so caught up in doing things his way and that his way was the only way that mattered. In this climate that is not true anymore. Good for all of those players for saying something. My support for Kirk is of hope. a Hope that he can change and be better. We will have to see if that is the case moving forward.
I got a lot of things going on in life that do not revolve around Iowa football.
Kirk needs to prove his worth after he said he is changing. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds this year. I honestly think he may retire if he has a decent record.
I appreciate your honesty. Where we differ is I would quit supporting Iowa State football if Campbell did all of the stuff Kirk did and was retained
I will admit I did not know he said that about Parker. Kind of makes my stomach churn honestly.
Yeah I just don’t know. I’m not sure if I’d be able to do it after everything that happened and the way everything was handled by the staff and the administration. It would definitely take me a while before I’d be able to look at the program differently. I do respect your viewing on this and I too hope Kirk does change for the better, even if I don’t believe he should be able to do such a thing while still being the HC.
I guess when you read something you do not want to believe it is easier to just push it aside. Brian should be fired or at least suspended. I really really hope he is done when Kirk is done. Not many Iowa fans are happy with him.
