Iowa Football Recruiting

FWIW, I have it on good authority that Petras is legitimately good in practice. The staff and players alike were really surprised when he sucked last year. Some guys just don’t have it when the bullets start flying, and unfortunately it looks like Petras may be one of those guys.
I have on good authority this is not true. They were concerned about him going into last season

Yea, he has a bionic arm in practice and then can't throw a 15 yard square out in a game. My guess is that based on practice ratings, Iowa has won the last 3 National Titles.

Food for thought Hawk fans.

Iowa Football: Just a Guy Asking Questions
Expecting a couple more division titles over the past decade is fair. But to expect Iowa to be better than Wisconsin year after year is silly. The trend over the last few years is encouraging. Winning bowl games over good teams and recruiting classes continuing to improve is a very good sign. If ISU not making the big 12 championship every year is considered a bad season, the program is in for a lot of disappointment. Winning 8 games is my expectation for Iowa, exceeding it is a fun and successful season. Not many programs can say that.

Condon just said on the radio that Petras isn't the guy to get Iowa to the next level.

A lot of programs have higher ethical standards than Iowa.

Benji, you would ridicule the **** out of an ISU fan for posting trash like that.

Trust me when I can say it's 100% false too. They were playing the "no spring ball" card as loud as they could from inside the football facilities

Your qbs suck and you guys aren’t in on any good qb recruits.

I actually have it on very good authority that Iowa is going to struggle immensely in throwing the football downfield. No size in that WR room and an inaccurate QB is not a good recipe.
