Iowa Football Recruiting

It's sick to post videos of 8th grade basketball highlights? It must be sick to be one of the high school and even on some occasions the college coaches that are at these AAU tournaments watching? What a world we live in these days. The recruiting business keeps getting younger and younger and while I think it's excessive it is reality. Calling it sick is just message board tough guy posturing IMO.

It's sick for someone not a college coach or high school coach to be posting videos of adolescents on a message board.
Sorry but that is wrong to do that. But then again remind me of the incident with the Barnstormer coach. Or is calling that sick just message board tough guy posturing in your opinion? Wait.... that's something totally different. I can here you say it now. You are right though, the recruiting business is getting to be excessive.

Just had a friends daughter along with her friend get followed by a guy down in Lawrence, KS. They had no idea they were being followed by guy in a Target, until a lady came up to them and told them. They were lucky as they got a hold of the cops. They police then told them where to drive to and they were there waiting for them and arrested him on multiple charges. Just saying there are a lot of strange people out there that you don't see.

My 16-year old daughter just last week was walking on the paved trail near our house, passed a 50ish looking guy who gave her a weird look, a minute later she looked back and he had turned around and was following her. She immediately pulled out her phone and pretended to call her friend and told her exactly where she was on the trail and that she would be over in just a few minutes, loud enough for the guy to hear. Trail met the street, she got off trail and started down the sidewalk on a fairly busy street. He kept going on trail. This was middle of the day. Scary as hell, there are dangerous weirdos everywhere out there.

One of my buddies sister got in a scary scenario a few months back. She was jogging on a road, when some guy came up and tried to get her to get in his car. She proceeded to run down the road, while this dude followed her in the car. Scary stuff.
