Old Mediocre Has-Been Desperate To Appear Relevant; aka JBo To Return

Tater Tough. Kid from Williamsburg that all the players knew. Unfortunately just passed away recently after a long battle with a brain tumor.

I've seen the signs for him down that way didn't make the connection. I won't rag on JBO for that, that might be one of the few decent things he has done.

Gotta love him admitting he hasn't even opened up a class all semester, lol.

I love the idea of him deciding to come back and saying "oh **** that's right I still have to go to school."

I'd like to know how he is going to salvage that semester. Sound like UNC academics to me.

The whole story is a crock of ****. He was planning on coming back the minute the NCAA made it possible. He was never going to do anything to risk his eligibility. This whole charade was just an attempt to get as many people as possible begging him to come back.

I think Sears from WHO-TV and Chadley are brothers as they both seem to have this love fest for JBo. Sears was about to cream his pants going through all the records JBo will hold. Funny part the Iowa grad Sears didn’t mention it took him 6 years to do most of them. Sears is a douche!

Sears is a total asshat. Always has been always will be. I wish he would transfer to a new market, but I don't think any other station would be dumb enough to hire him.

How will hilton respond to the shoes at midcourt stunt when he has to weasel his way back into ames this fall?

Must not be any jobs at IC McDonalds.
didn't you read, he was going to 'go pro' but he decided to give up that lucrative pro contract to come back for one more year, well either that or no pro team wanted a short, slow guy that used to be able to shoot but never has been able to defend.

I'm genuinely concerned for the kid. He obviously has no future and is clinging to the last bit of relevancy he has. What does he even have to look forward to? You all know the kid that never left your hometown. Hung around for way too long and ended up on drugs and in jail.

I just hope he doesn't pull anyone down with him. Seen it a 1,000 times. So sad to watch.

Hell, I know somebody very close to the program that thinks it's bad for the team. That said, if his teammates want him back it's just a kid playing basketball to me. He better play well because I know of zero fans who are in favor. There are some, of course, just not people I know. People don't like the kid.

I had a friend trying to say it's a good thing because he's going to move to the 2 and accept a lesser role, like that's even a remote possibility. The first 5 TO game Touissant has Fran will go back to the well and move JBo to the point. And there's no chance JBo settles in to the 15 mpg role he should probably have.

I think it does make them a better team IMO.
They had 0 shooters without him so even if he is a decoy or gets 15 minutes a game it will help them out.

So, basically doing a semester of classes to be eligible because he was going to be off playing "professionally"?

That story needs work.
