Honestly, I'm not even sure they initiated the "tampering." I think CJ wanted out so badly that it's likely CJ's camp reached out to them thru back channels.

Coach Cal will most definitely use CJ in a more successful way than Fran did. Kentucky may even just use him as a corner three guy and he would probably succeed at doing that.

Fran had a loaded team this year and took them nowhere.

Just think what he’ll do with a terrible roster.

I dunno...most of us all summer/fall were saying they were going to feast on weaklings but once they find teams that can slow Garza and the 3s aren't falling they are screwed. It was pretty obvious. Iowa has good shooting guards but they can't guard my grandma and she's 6 feet in the ground now...
