TJ is better than Ben Jacobson at this point FWIW.There are plenty of other coaches I'd rather have than Fran. TJ is not one of them. Iowa and ISU have the 3rd and 4th best D1 coaches in the state.
well putPretty much Twitter in a nutshell.
I remember back when guys that you’ve never heard of and have no authority on a topic whatsoever said dumb **** and it never got further than an eye roll from the poor guy sitting next to him in the office.
That's one way to ignore the questionThis man does not take the University of Iowa off his mind at any time does he?
guess we'll find out. I'm not so sure. Not enough to go on. He had Mike Daum dropped in his lap at SDSU.TJ is better than Ben Jacobson at this point FWIW.
The coach in Spain got Mike Daum dropped on his lap and hes not winningguess we'll find out. I'm not so sure. Not enough to go on. He had Mike Daum dropped in his lap at SDSU.
All aboard the Jason McIntyre hype train baby!
TJ is literally Prohm 2.0
Mike was no doubt a great player as a freshman when TJ took over, but he went from averaging 15.2 ppg to 25.1 ppg in one year.guess we'll find out. I'm not so sure. Not enough to go on. He had Mike Daum dropped in his lap at SDSU.
I can't stand his eyebrows.Chubby. Slow. Stone-feet.
Who said I have a life?Says the person who LITERALLY POSTS DAILY ON AN IOWA STATE WEBSITE lol.
maybe the Spanish team should've hired TJ then? The coach in Spain got Mike Daum dropped on his lap and hes not winning
So if Fran would win a title there that means we agree on Fran>TJMaybe Mad Fran could win a conference title or regular season title out there. He sure can't get that done in the City where he currently lives.
I'm not saying TJ won't be good. I just don't think he was hired due to any successes he had as head coach. All we can do is wait and see. Same with Ben Johnson at Minnesota. Who knows?Mike was no doubt a great player as a freshman when TJ took over, but he went from averaging 15.2 ppg to 25.1 ppg in one year.
Who knows if that was TJ or not, but he certainly didn’t regress offensively because of him. I also am not worried about TJ finding talent considering he brought some very good players to Iowa State.
Well considering TJ was only there for two years I feel as if there’d be some missing data lol.So if Fran would win a title there that means we agree on Fran>TJ![]()
Yeah no one knows. Just going to have to wait and see. I like the hire personally, however TJ was not my first choice. Hopefully he’s able to get it done here because this past winter watching our team was painfully hard lol.I'm not saying TJ won't be good. I just don't think he was hired due to any successes he had as head coach. All we can do is wait and see. Same with Ben Johnson at Minnesota. Who knows?
I would bet a large sum of your money that if TJ was hired when JP wanted to hire him (not Prohm) we would not be in this position today. We might not be much better off but we would not be 0-19 in conference with next year most likely being another learning tour through the conference slate.
I don’t get itSaw this on Iowa Basketball's Facebook page on March 20.
"Join us in wishing redshirt freshman, Patrick McCaffery, a special 21st birthday!"
