I'm curious but are Hawk fans getting nervous about this years class yet? The last 2-3 years Iowa has locked up a bunch of guys early but they appear to be striking out this year.
Not at all. Everything is good over there. Obviously they are missing on guys they had to get but no reason to cry over spilled milk
I'm nervous. But then again, COVID has affected a lot of teams in the same way. Doesn't ISU usually have at least 10 commits at this point too?
Iowa State is in a good spot with a lot of their priority kids. I don't think Iowa can say the same
I think the big difference is that Iowa State doesn't have a black cloud (pun intended) looming over the program. If I were an Iowa fan I would be nervous, especially how things have went on the recruiting trail since last summer.
Iowa is good with Chase Carter, Micah Riley, Chris Petrucci, Elic Ayomanor, Hunter Deyo, and Christion Stokes. And there will be more as the year unfolds. I expect Iowa to offer Trey Porter and Jahsiah Galven very soon, along with Spruceton Buddenhagen.

Not looking good there. That LB from Kansas offered yesterday would be an even better get, but not sure if there’s much traction there yet. Not getting Bonnema would hurt, hopefully things turn around.
The LB from Kansas can play 3 different positions. Would be a great addition.
