Fran is not a bad coach. He took on a program without a great history, following Lickliter, and has gone 214-150. This will be his 5th NCAA tournament, would be 6th it last year hadn’t been canceled.

A coach that has made (or would have made) 6 of the last 8 NCAA tournaments isn't a bad coach. You are just making yourself look triggered by trying to claim is a bad coach

I'm happy the Hok fans like Mad Fran. He's a jerk to the media, mediocre to bad coach, and they could do so much better. But if they like that, good enough for me.

Not going to be a homer here, but Fran has actually done a pretty decent job with Iowa. They’ve been consistently a 18-20 win team over the last 5-6 years. Iowa is smart to lock him up, as he’s steady. Iowa fans just need to remember they aren’t KU. 18-20 wins is great for Iowa
