Wait is this a thing? Lol
Well that or your seed, whatever way you want to look at it. Being a top 5 team and getting a #2 seed is a big deal.

Have to cut some slack here. These guys are suffering from PTS at the moment.Well that or your seed, whatever way you want to look at it. Being a top 5 team and getting a #2 seed is a big deal.
So finishing 5th* in the AP top 25 isn't great if 2* teams from your conference finish higher than that? Wow for a forum filled with dumb, this might take the cake.
Hold up. There is no regular season AP finale. It is at the end of the tournament.LOL, coaching a team to a #5 AP regular season is nothing Prohm came close to, even with Fred's players. Fran > Prhom, it isn't close. The fact ISU fans try to debate otherwise just shows how triggered they are over Iowa's #5 AP season.

Sweet 16, elite 8, and final four are more special than a conf tourney title. Winning a first round game really is nothing big...losing a first round game can be a big deal. Winning a first round game is pretty trivial.
Here is how I would rank them for College Basketball.
1) NCAA Championship (Obviously)
2) Final Four
3) Regular Season Conference Championship
4) Elite Eight
5) Sweet 16
6) Tournament Conference Championship
7) Making it to the round of 32
8) Making the NCAA
9) Making the NIT
10) Making the CBI
1,000,000,000 - Going winless in conference
Interesting you think a Regular Season Conference Championship is more important than a Postseason Conference Championship. I think most Iowa fans disagree with that
In basketball it is. In wrestling it is not. Don't think football awards a regular season championship.
Iowa won the Big10 Tournament in '05-'06 and got a 3 seed in the NCAA tournament. That year will forever be the biggest disappointment of any basketball year for most Iowa fans you talk to. Iowa fan unlike ISU fan realizes that winning 3 games in 3 days just doesn't matter. Nobody outside the fan base remembers or cares won the tournament titles. They remember who won the regular season and who made the Sweet 16 or Elite 8's. Are you really going to be more impressed with Wisconsin at 10-10 over a Michigan or Illinois if they happen to win the Big10 tournament and get a 6 seed? If you are LOL man, having a #1 seed season is what matters not a Big10 tournament title.
I said that losing a first round game can be a huge deal. Maybe you missed that part.
Winning a first round game is no big deal at all and common for good programs.
ISU fans know what all of this feels like. You don't. It's hazy memories...ffs it's been 43 years for a conference title.
Hasn't it been more than 20 years since the Hoks were more than one and done in the tourney? Can't remember my memory gets a little "hazy" when I have to scroll back to elementary school.lol it is you with “hazy memories”, ISU hasn’t won a NCAA tournament game in 4 years.

Where is playing Baylor for the Natty in here? Here is how I would rank them for College Basketball.

Two bluebloods out for sure now. Duke and Kentucky. Pretty sure they would have needed to win their respective conference tournaments to get it. Does North Carolina get in?
For wrestling:
1) Win the NCAA National Team Title
2) Win the Conference Team Tournament Title
3) Win an individual NCAA Title
4) Win an individual Conference Tournament Title\
5) Win the Dual Season Title
