Have to cut some slack here. These guys are suffering from PTS at the moment.
Going from a good P6 program to the very worst in a couple years has left them traumatized.
Hold up. There is no regular season AP finale. It is at the end of the tournament.
Here is how I would rank them for College Basketball.
1) NCAA Championship (Obviously)
2) Final Four
3) Regular Season Conference Championship
4) Elite Eight
5) Sweet 16
6) Tournament Conference Championship
7) Making it to the round of 32
8) Making the NCAA
9) Making the NIT
10) Making the CBI
1,000,000,000 - Going winless in conference

Interesting you think a Regular Season Conference Championship is more important than a Postseason Conference Championship. I think most Iowa fans disagree with that
In basketball it is. In wrestling it is not. Don't think football awards a regular season championship.
In football I would go:
1) Winning National Championship
2) Making the CFP and winning a game.
3) Make the CFP
4) Win the Conference Championship Game
5) Make the NY6
6) Win your division if you have one.
7) Make a Bowl Game
I said that losing a first round game can be a huge deal. Maybe you missed that part.
Winning a first round game is no big deal at all and common for good programs.
ISU fans know what all of this feels like. You don't. It's hazy memories...ffs it's been 43 years for a conference title.

Hasn't it been more than 20 years since the Hoks were more than one and done in the tourney? Can't remember my memory gets a little "hazy" when I have to scroll back to elementary school.
I can quite easily remember everything but a final four in the past 21 years.
I grew up an Iowa fan in the 80s and I'm not old enough to remember that 79 big ten title.
Continue acting like winning a first round game is some euphoric achievement, it just exposes how mediocre fran's run has been.

Two bluebloods out for sure now. Duke and Kentucky. Pretty sure they would have needed to win their respective conference tournaments to get it. Does North Carolina get in?
