EIU has a quality team, its taken Mad Fran a while, but they are fun to watch. Fran has cornered the market on getting kids that want to play 4 or more years, and develop their talent, as oppose to the one or two years, and off to the NBA that Prohm as been getting lately. Love that fact we have kids playing in the league, but would much rather have better teams at ISU than half ass teams and then watch them leave.
How far can EIU go, totally depends if Garza can stay out of foul trouble and if they are hitting their shots from 3. I could see them making the elite 8 or final 4 or getting bounced in the first weekend. It will all be about matchups and playing well.
Screw the Squawks.
