Iowa Football Recruiting

That dudes a Mizzou fan. I watch a lot of his videos. He’s even done some stuff for ISU.

The ISU ones are about the rise of ISU and Purdy along with Breece going from no stars to college stars. The guy may want to rethink the Petras video. Just saw only one about Iowa.

I watch videos about other college football and basketball teams, not just Iowa. The Petras video has bit him on the butt, no dispute from me on that.

I really was not at all surprised Iowa got schooled by Stanford, so I don't dwell on it like a big upset. Iowa played a really weak schedule all year. When they finally did play someone decent, they lost both games. They were a good team, not a great team.

It's truly amazing going through a schedule in a P5 conference and not having to face a single ranked team the entire year.... a true indicator how bad the B1G was that year. I give Iowa credit for beating all of them until when it really mattered. Iowa was not on par with the better teams and everyone knew it with the exception of people that wear black and gold glasses.

Iowa beat Wisconsin and Northwestern, both of whom finished ranked, and were ranked when we played them.

I can play this. Iowa was a 2 point conversion away from potentially playing in the title game in 2019 and was 5 points away from reaching it this year.

And while you are playing this, you prove our point. Iowa is keeping up with ISU, i.e. ISU has caught Iowa - in just a few years - with lower rated recruiting classes.

Interesting anecdote is that Northwestern actually beat Stanford in the first game of the year in 2015, and that loss alone kept Stanford out of the CFP and helped hold CM back from winning the Heisman.

Hawkeyes had absolutely no answer for him that day. Other than the fact he was doing it to the Hawks it really was amazing to watch. He still does it on Sundays when he can stay healthy.

In '15 Iowa played as many conference teams that finished ranked in the AP top 25 as did OU when they won the Big12 in '19, '18, '17, and '16. Crazy to think that a team could win a P5 conference 4 years in a row and only face 2 conference opponents in the regular season that finished in the AP top 25.

And ISU fans think winning the Big12 is tough? OU says LOL to that! Just beat 2 teams ranked in the final AP top 25 and bam you can win the conference 4 years in a row in the Big12!

To win the Big 12 you have to play OU. To win the B1G, you can duck tOSU, Mich, Penn State, MSU.

Nowhere to hide in the Big 12.

Ohio State has won the Big 10 Championship 4 years in a row, 5 out of the 7 times, and the average margin of victory for them in the game is 22 points. The Big 10 West has not once won a title. But keep going.

Since your stats tend to be notoriously incorrect I will just ask. I am looking at OU’s 2017 schedule and I see 3 Big 12 games against teams that finished in the top 25. (OSU and TCUX2)
