The guys played better tonight and harder tonight and just weren't able to pull it out. I respect this set of guys for their effort. I feel bad for their loss, but they need to keep their heads up and keep trying.

I respect most of it, but not Bolton's attempts to run the "offense" at the end.
I know the last two minutes were Prohm's, but that spree of turnovers is unacceptable.

Officiating wasn't that bad. Absolute **** coaching.

100% disagree. There was about 5 bad calls in a row that really changed the game...sure coaching wasn't great down the stretch but we were behind the 8 ball when we shouldn't have been.

I'm blaming the refs for missing a dozen easy to catch travels when they catch many of ours. You can be a bad team and still demand even officiating.

Well, he didn't get a 10 second call with nobody guarding him, so he's got that going for him anyway.

Way too much Bolton down the stretch, missed layup, turnover, gets cutoff on the baseline leading to another turnover. Empty possessions in the most crucial part of the game.

Baylor didn’t lead until 4:00 left in the 2nd half. The players played their ass off. A better coach wins this game.

I would rather have a true PG. Bolton needs to be off the ball. This team can't function with a high volume scorer, that's loose with the ball in crunch time at PG.

I don’t disagree but the fact of the matter is he’s all you got right now. He had 6 tos but he still had a heck of a stat line outside of it. ISU is a hellofa lot worse this year without him.

They just don't make refs that can offset Bolton and Prohm down the stretch.

This but their basketball IQ, awareness in key situations, and execution when it matters is the worst I’ve ever seen for an Iowa State team.

You would think we would just get lucky ONCE during these close games. Instead we consistently **** the bed when it matters.

I honestly don’t think talent is a huge issue, obviously not the greatest, but a halfway decent coach would have this team with at least 5-7 Big 12 wins. Prohm is in way over his head.

They need a PG so badly. Bolton is a good player, horrible point guard. He had 4 plays in a row where he either turned it over or made a stupid play.

Absolutely horrendous possessions from ISU in the last couple minutes. This happens every game. Do they work on these situations in practice?
