Iowa Football Recruiting

Tough to make the case Iowa's recruiting class was hurt last year when they had a top 25 class for the first time in over 15 years.
I’m aware they had a good class, however they missed on consensus 4 star rb Ricky Parks because of their racist culture. They were the frontrunner for him and he was almost going to commit. Thankfully Wadley reached out to him about the disadvantages of being an AA recruit at Iowa so he chose Utah. Then you guys picked up a low-major linebacker recruit to fill the 21’ rb spot.

The effects of something like what happened with Iowa aren't immediate. It's a slow drip. Do you not think it will have any effect? Do you not think coaches around the country who are in recruiting battles with Iowa over an AA kid aren't going to use the investigative findings against them?

I am not going to say the allegations were a death sentence to Iowa recruiting but since the James Daniels tweet Iowa has gotten 1 AA commit and that guy was a 2 star who had 1 FCS offer. So we both know it has had real consequences.

Micah Riley, Junior Vandeross, Christion Stokes, Chase Carter, Javon Tracy.
Don’t forget Trey Porter or Jahsiah Galven.

Edit: Or Eian Pugh. Currently committed to Cincy, but 247 lists Iowa as warm. He has offers from Indiana and Kansas.
