Embrace the warmth now before Saturday.Yeah, -20 in Dirty Dodge. A dirty trick, if you ask me.
I started working out again January 1. Haven't skipped one since. Wish I had started back in March when this all got real.Decided it’s time to start getting back in shape. Did a short walk on the treadmill, a little weight lifting and watching what I eat. Starting light to start getting stretched out. May need to buy some more weight plates, not sure where some of them went.
I had dropped weight and was getting in better shape before Covid, then everyone was home and that blew everything up.I started working out again January 1. Haven't skipped one since. Wish I had started back in March when this all got real.
Ever see the movie Snowpiercer?I had a thought the other day while driving it the super cold morning air. Thinking if I stuck my hand out the window what would the wind chill be. Which led me down another road of my actual question to you fine people of CF!
I weighed myself this morning, still at 200.I had dropped weight and was getting in better shape before Covid, then everyone was home and that blew everything up.
First I just want to get my clothes to fit better and then start dropping. 50 hits in October and realize that it’s hitting so best to take it by the horns.I weighed myself this morning, still at 200.
Obviously the alcohol calories aren't doing me any favors considering how many steps I get each day. Need to cut back.
Not only have I not seen the movie but I had to look it up to even know what it was.Ever see the movie Snowpiercer?
I'm not an etymologist by any means, but I did look up "ception." It seems inception was the original word. OK, back to word. I mean, work.Small etymology lesson for today (actually more of a weirdness) - I was thinking about words that are commonly used with a certain prefix or suffix, such as intrepid. Does anyone ever actually use the word trepid? It is a word.
Just weird, I guess. I'm sure you guys and gals(are you there, @Ms3r4ISU?) can come up with some more.
Were they used as weights in the back of the pickup?Decided it’s time to start getting back in shape. Did a short walk on the treadmill, a little weight lifting and watching what I eat. If you had a direct headwind of say 20mph and you were driving 60mph would the wind you feel on your hand be 80mph? Then say you have a direct tailwind of 20mph and you were driving at 60mph the wind on your hand would be 60mph?
I was just wanting to confirm my "hypothesis" in my pea brain so I can feel like I am smart as Einstein. Its funny the scenarios that can run through your brain on long drives.
Right now I am in between sizes. 36 waist pants are baggy but 34 are a bit too tight. Need to drop 10 more to get into 34 properly. The workouts have been going well. I have a BowFlex in my basement that I used to use all the time. I started again on January 1. The first 2 times I used extremely low resistance then bumped it up for a couple of weeks. I'm now working on regular workouts were I do 3 sets with a slight increase each set. Then after a couple of weeks I should just bump up the initial set with the slight bump each subsequent set.First I just want to get my clothes to fit better and then start dropping. 50 hits in October and realize that it’s hitting so best to take it by the horns.
