So NOW your defense of Iowa's Recruiting (don't let the thread title confuse you) is that ISU's success is not sustainable. Your first paragraph confuses me, are you saying ISU won't be as good because it takes time to develop players and that CMC hasn't had time to develop players? I mean, everyone is back and will have another year of development AND has allowed CMC to better develop his later recruiting classes without forcing them into duty too early not to mention the level of competition increasing for starting positions. Anyone with any impartiality will look at the OLine today and what is coming over the next 2-3 years and know it will be light years ahead of what CMC had to work with the 1st half of his tenure.
Back to the subject...
So are you saying that ISU won't do any better than Iowa going forward. THAT doesn't make sense either. How can ISU have similar result to Iowa when our recruiting classes are in the 40's, 50's, 60's and Iowa's are in the 20's, 30's, 40's? Isn't that really the question of this thread? How effective is Iowa's recruiting?
