Purdy hasn’t done too well in big games vs teams that finished in the top 25 AP poll. Lost to OU when it mattered, but he did beat them when it didn’t matter, so he does have that. Lost on the big stage vs Washington St and Notre Dame. Couldn’t beat Iowa even with ESPN doing gameday in Ames. Maybe that changes for him in ‘21, so he has time to get it done yet.

Iowa State is going to the middle of the pack because they will lose more players after next season than probably almost any other P5 school. Makes sense for them to pass up NFL $$$$ to come back tho. They have unfinished business.
