ISU winning a NY6 bowl game has broke legend to an even dumber state. First the NY6 bowl game for isu and now ISU beating out Iowa for a life long fan has him tailspinning.

Don't tell him how soft Iowa's schedule is and how trash the big10 west is. He will try and compare a division vs an entire conference. He is keeps getting owned with it
Do most fading programs have a 72% winning % since 2015? I mean ISU's best year ever is 75%, just a hair above Iowa's winning % over the last 6 years.
You are a complete and total idiot that knows nothing about Iowa. Iowa's measuring stick is fellow P5 football programs. Since 2013 Iowa has a top 11 winning % among P5 schools. Wanna try cherry picking a year to start from to prove your stupid ass "downward trend"? Well go ahead. Since Iowa's disaster of a 2012 season here is where Iowa stands winning % compared to other P5 schools:
Since 2013: 68% which is 11th among P5 schools
Since 2014: 69% 9th among P5 schools
Since 2015: 72% 9th among P5 schools
Since 2016: 68% 11th among P5 schools
Since 2017: 70% 11th among P5 schools
Since 2018: 74% 10th among P5 schools
Since 2019: 76% 9th among P5 schools
So tell me where you see a "downward trend"? Over the last 8 years Iowa has been excellent compared to other P5 programs. There is no downward trend and you are an idiot for believing what you wish to be true instead of actually looking at data.
You are dumber than I thought, you clearly can't read. He literally said Iowa has been FLAT and he PREDICTS a decline. Tough day for you. Just log off.
I don't think it is an overt factor. I do think it is just one symptom of a fading program.
Your instability is frightening.I'm just not sure who was the bigger ISU fan, Imming or Lazard. Jr. Cyclone club members grow up to be the most insane of insane ISU fans.
Can you seriously say that you aren't concerned at all? I actually just had this conversation with a couple Iowa friends/season ticket holders and they can't stress enough how big of a blow losing Doyle was. They fully expect development to start to slide as early as this year. They are also really concerned with the RB and WR positions.
Trying to compare a division with an entire conference is trying to compare apples to oranges. Anyone with a brain cell knows that. But if you want to be the idiot you are, then drop the three bottom teams of the big 12 and our % of ranked teams blows the big10 west out of the water. Thanks for pointing this outYou aren't very good at math. The Big10 West has the same % of teams in the final AP top 25 poll as the Big12 does. If you compare the entire conference the Big10 is far ahead of the Big12 in % of teams that are AP top 25 quality teams.
How do you know so much about the Jr. Cyclone club?I'm just not sure who was the bigger ISU fan, Imming or Lazard. Jr. Cyclone club members grow up to be the most insane of insane ISU fans.
I know a family of Iowa fans that have Iowa State season tickets instead for this very reasonI mean Barta requires a baby to have a ticket....
Whoa, there is a level 5 Trigger Alert
First of all knucklehead, you YOU ******* YOU are the hok troll that asked about ISU's recent performance when I brought up Iowa's performance. YOU called out me to talk about ISUs performance. Believe me, i was shocked when you chose ISU as the measuring stick and when I called that out, now you adjust it.
And if you will/can read back through my posts you will see I said that Iowa's performance has been flat line, which your data clearly points out. In fact, here is my exact quote:
Do you understand what a trend line is? Iowa has been flat and I predict it will decline.
Thank you for getting the data to back up the flat line part. And yes, I am sure hok fan is happy with that performance and would be happy with that performance for another 10 years under KF.
I further pointed out that ISU has risen to the same level of performance as Iowa with lower ranked recruiting classes. My point being ISU is doing more with less. I further SUGGEST that a rise in ISU's effectiveness in recruiting, especially in-state and the PR disaster KF had last July are going to show up negatively in Iowa's recruiting going forward.
I have then gone on to SUGGEST that we are seeing Iowa in the early stages of a program that is fading. Happens to almost all of them sometimes, Happened to Iowa under Fry. To me it is clear circumstances are aligning for the end of KFs run. I wish we had the conversations around Fry's last few years to look at, I bet they are about the same as this discussion. I certainly don't expect you to believe and I think I clearly stated I hope none of hokdom believes it or does anything about it. Again, Don't expect you to agree with , understand or talk logically about it.
But hey, this is a hell of a lot better discussion than what we have been getting where "We are fine because that recruit was named Outstanding Young Member of the Year for Jr. Cyclone Club".
Why has ISU passed Iowa in football success in just 5 years?
Answer some of the questions about Iowa's fading program if you are such a keen analyzer of college football.
I don't think it is an overt factor. I do think it is just one symptom of a fading program.
Exactly. It’s amazing that some ignorant hawk fans don’t appear to understand the appeal and concept of the Jr Cyclone Club. It’s a marketing plan that appeals to families with young kids. It’s almost a no-brainer to get your kids involved in it if you want them to experience college sports. Continuing to try to tie it to being the deciding factor in choosing a school is an attempt to deny what CMC has been building at Iowa State.I don't think ISU stole him from Iowa, ISU deflected Iowa's hard run at him. Like Sanders, Like McGluaghlin. Please don't tell me the ultimate argument for Iowa's declining performance against ISU in recruiting battles is Jr. Cyclone Club.

9-3?
I am concerned every year, I think it is a function of being an Iowa fan. The success Iowa has had since 2013 is pretty high level stuff. winning 70% of your games is no easy task and that is why Iowa sits around 9, 10 or 11 among P5 schools in winning % since that time.
He got a fellow Jr. Cyclone Member in Lazard, and he was really fired up that Iowa even tried recruiting the kid. So it goes with Jr. Cyclone members, ISU if very protective of them, and I don't think they will lose a recruiting battle for them vs Iowa.
You have made the claim that Iowa is a fading program a couple times this month. Don't act like your new course of "flat line" is anything other than backtracking on your "fading line" that is clearly false.
