Not really. He's a lot younger though so the everyone is a "beast" or a "baller" or "smooooooth" is pretty unique. He is probably the biggest homer on here
Ferentz is a better comp really. First 5 years:
35 wins 28 losses 1 top 10 finish
32 wins 29 losses 2 top 10 finishes
Wow that's pretty eye opening that Campbell has more wins and less losses considering he replaced Paul Rhoads and Ferentz replaced Hayden Fry

CMC is about a year behind what KF did. CMC still doesn't have a 10 win season, maybe next year he can get his first. He did get ISU to above .500 faster than KF did though, so he does have that.
You object to wins, then how about winning % in a year? Best winning % in first 5 years, CMC 75%, KF 85% and 77%.
What are you talking about? CMC has won 56% of his games so far at Iowa State. Ferentz won 53% of his games his first 5 years at Iowa and walked into a way better situation
Yeah I realize that. I said CMC got ISU to above .500 faster than KF. KF got Iowa to the top 10 faster than CMC did. KF had 2 years better than CMC best year in their first 5 years.
Iowa had to play #4 ranked 11 win USC
ISU played unranked Oregon with 4 wins.
