Of course it is a tool, but not the end all be all. ULL had a really good season and got to play a lot more games than Iowa did.

If the AP poll is the end all be all, then no lower ranked team would have beat a higher ranked team.

ISU wasn't a lot better than Iowa. I feel they were pretty close actually and give a slight edge to ISU for playing more games and beating better opponents than Iowa did. I think the actual game would have been really close.

Iowa fans are so delusional. They think Iowa is unbeatable even if they lose to somebody. The Petras is a new QB excuse is the best though. Hmm... Purdy comes into the game as a freshman against OSU in 2018 and leads ISU on the road against a team with a 4-1 record.

Iowa was almost as good as West Virginia. Look at their schedule results it's really not even debatable. Iowa St crushed West Virginia.
