You don't think making a Conference Championship game is a big deal? Really doesn't matter in the Big12 if you are 1st or 2nd, because the Conference champion is the one who wins the game.
Imagine being on vacation and spending it posting about Iowa Football.
I heard they fired the college intern that ran that across the ticker. ESPN takes the ticker seriously. Can't be messing with peoples emotions on there.
Iowa was 8-0, MSU and OSU were 7-1. We won the Regular Season Championship according to ISU logic.
Good thing Iowa can duck all the good teams and still not win the west. What a gauntlet.
Did Iowa play either during the regular season? See, what Iowa did in 1985 is much different than what Iowa did in 2015. And the only difference between what Iowa did 1985 and what ISU did 2020 is we now have to play a extra game to satisfy the CFP committee. But both played everyone in the conference......and both came out on top. So both are the regular season conference champs. I would say what the Big 12 does compares more to their BB tourney. The winner of the conference in the regular..........is the winner of the conference. They don't take that title away if they don't win the conference tourney.
