Brock Purdy is the most clutch player in the state of Iowa's history

Those teams can rightfully argue they're better than Oregon but i agree some times playing group of 5 teams comes with that lose lose perception because of the lack of respect they're given.
I mean Iowa State is getting a borderline blue blood in a NY6 bowl and we're more talented than they are. Pretty awesome

A lot like Iowa playing USC last year. They were top 25 going into the game, but just a shell of the blue blood program that they had been. I think ISU beats Oregon like a drum just like Iowa rolled USC.

Oh OK. So you agree that Iowa State is better than Northwestern and Iowa? Got it
I don't agree with you being ahead of Louisiana-Lafayette so that would make you one spot closer to us. We lost to Purdue, you should be ahead of us.

It is simple, if ISU beats Oregon, they will be ranked higher in the AP than Iowa and Northwestern. If they lose and Iowa and Northwestern win I’d guess they would be ranked lower than Iowa and Northwestern.

But there is little chance of that against Oregon. I think ISU would have been handled pretty easily by Florida though.

you are currently ranked higher. If you lose to Oregon you probably wont be. (Very unlikely you lose to Oregon)

Oregon would be be far the second best team Iowa even faced this year lol

NW probably, Iowa would be pretty close.

So what you suggest is to sneak up on a better ranking by playing sub.500 teams, that is an easier path to top 15?

I think will stay with the big payoff/big reward games. A lot more fun when all of CFB is watching you than sneaking into the top 15.
