I'm a fan of Saban's approach personally. Ever hear him talk about Mac teams? You would think they're the buffalo bills.
Football is easier to play with emotion. Play BB with a lot of emotion had you have 3 fouls and 2 shots that cleared the backboard in the first two minutes.
So I guess Iowa is hurting themselves by putting so much into this game. Got it. Makes a win even more impressive.
Garza was way too hyped last game. He kept trying to power and will everything through North Carolina. It's still importantt to play hard but you need to keep your composure too
Saban sees the big picture and knows a letdown could cost him a playoff spot. Those kind of thoughts apparently never occur to Campbell.

I honestly haven’t seen an ISU/Iowa BB game in 7-8 years. Friday nights have always been HS events that I’ve had kids in. One day I might get to watch one.
Every Iowa/ISU matchup from 2015-2019 was held on a Thursday night.
My son was a freshman in 2015 so for those four years they were wrestling meets. Last year was a JH basketball game away that we didn’t get home for. This year basketball for HS. I guess I just went simple and did t want to year bu year break it down, but there you go Benji. What had been my conflict for the years it was Friday or Thursday.
